Telefunken-Aeg M15 A

The Telefunken Aeg-M15 is a solid state recorder and represents the German answer to the launch of the Studer A80. The history of the M15 is as representative as that of its Swiss competitor. The M15 stands out as the Master Recorder that better represents simple construction and basic functions.

The automatic return to Zero was considered unnecessary; the traditional Telefunken lever though allows the use of fast forward and rewind in a very precise way and with a manual speed setting. In this recorder no buttons will remain unused, there is everything you need to play and record a tape with the highest quality. The M15 was essential and had a cheap price, for this reason it was widely used in the recording studios of East and West Germany, but it had also a fair international success.

This model is proposed on a trolley that allows its use both horizontally or tilted, it has an integral paneling of the four sides, 4 meters interconnect balanced cables that have original Tuchel input connectors (that were installed as standard on the M15 as Input-Output connectors) and XLR as output, the hook for original DIN-AEG reels with adaptor for NAB reels and with Cine-Trident Telefunken adaptor.
